"Honesty" is the word that many have used to describe Ruth Graham McIntyre, third child of Billy and Ruth Graham. She brings a new and fresh perspective to life as she shares her journey of faith through trials common to all, her own divorce, her teenage daughter’s two pregnancies, and going back to school at 40. She is articulate and candid as she speaks of these intensely personal matters in a thoroughly winsome manner.

Ruth is a recent cum laude graduate from Mary Baldwin College with a BA degree in religion/communications, having received the Outstanding Adult Student award at graduation.

She is married to Richard McIntyre, and has four grown children and two grandchildren.

Ruth was Acquisitions Editor for HarperCollins/San Francisco and McCracken Press for thirteen years. In 1980, she published First Steps in the Bible, a children’s Bible storybook. She has written for Moody Magazine, Decision Magazine and the Saturday Evening Post. Ruth just completed a book in collaboration with Sara Dormon Ph.D. for birthmothers and their families: I’m Pregnant…Now What? available at forpregnancyhelp.com. She is now in the process of writing In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart due out in 2003.

Ruth is an experienced conference speaker. Dr. Tom Corts, President of Samford University, says of Ruth: "Clearly, Ruth Graham McIntyre has a great gift.
