TOURS

 All tours are by appointment only and currently will only be conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

There are two venues for guided tours at the Foundation: Ever Rest, the Cropsey home and studio, and the Gallery of Art. Both tours are scheduled by appointment only and are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays! To ensure availability, we request scheduling tours at least one week in advance. All tours are free of charge.

Tours of Ever Rest, located at 49 Washington Avenue are conducted by appointment  from 10am till 1pm.
Tour of the Gallery of Art, located at 25 Cropsey Lane are conducted by appointment from 1pm till 4pm.

Tour groups are limited to 15 people maximum unless special arrangements are made. Tours for sole individuals are permitted. Each tour takes approximately 45 minutes.

The Foundation is closed for tours in December and January as well as the month of August. In addition, the Foundation is generally closed for all federal holidays.

Directions to Ever Rest from the Saw Mill River Parkway: Take exit 12, Farragut Avenue / Hastings on Hudson exit; continue on Farragut Parkway / Avenue until the first stop sign; turn left at stop sign onto Olinda Avenue; at the end of Olinda, turn left onto Broadway; take the first street on the right which is Washington Avenue; continue down Washington until you reach number 49, on right side of road.

Directions to the Gallery of Art from the Saw Mill River Parkway: Take exit 12, Farragut Avenue / Hastings on Hudson exit; continue on Farragut Parkway / Avenue until the first stop sign; turn left at stop sign onto Olinda Avenue; at the end of Olinda, turn left onto Broadway; take the first street on the right which is Washington Avenue; continue down Washington till the very end (stop sign); at end of Washington turn right onto Southside Avenue; take first street on right, Cropsey Lane which runs through the center of the commuter parking lot; continue on Cropsey Lane until you reach the NCF guardhouse and property (beneath the Warburton Bridge).
