information Tours of the Cropsey Gallery are guided by staff members. The tour takes approximately 45
minutes. Group tours are allowed, but groups larger than 15 persons can not be
accommodated. Photography is not allowed in the gallery. Children under the age of 16 are
not allowed. There are no fees charged by the Newington-Cropsey Foundation.

Passive (unguided) viewing of the grounds and architecture is
allowed from 1pm till 5pm weekdays without an appointment.

The
Cropsey Research Library collection focuses on the Hudson River School painters in general
and the Hudson River Valley and Jasper Cropsey in particular. The Cropsey Research Library
is open by appointment to researchers and students. Please call 914 478 7990 for an
appointment. The library is non-lending. Limited photocopying services are available.

Sawmill Parkway to Exit 12 (Hastings on Hudson, Farragut Parkway) Stay on Farragut until the first traffic light. Take left at the light onto Main Street. At the end of Main Street take a right onto Warburton Avenue. Take the first left (about 200 yards) onto Spring Street At the end of Spring Street (about 100 yards) take a left and go down the hill Train Station will be on your right hand side. After the Train Station you will see
Cropsey Lane sign on your left side. Turn left onto Cropsey Lane (runs through the commuter lot) and continue till gate house
where the guard will instruct on parking. |
